Jelena Alfejeva
Jeļena Alfejeva is an attorney-at-law holding a Doctor of Law degree, with many years of experience specializing in insurance law, MTPL (OCTA), civil liability, and commercial law. She is the author of several legal publications, including a scholarly monograph on the legal aspects of mandatory motor third-party liability insurance in Latvia.
In addition to her legal practice, Jeļena Alfejeva is actively involved in academia, serving as a lecturer at the Faculty of Law at Turība University and the Faculty of Law at Rīga Stradiņš University.
Biography
Jeļena Alfejeva graduated from the University of Latvia in 1987 with a degree in law, and in 2012 she earned a Doctor of Law degree from Riga Stradiņš University. In 2007, Jeļena Alfejeva was admitted to the Latvian Bar Association. From 2007 to 2013, Jeļena Alfejeva served as Vice Chair of the Board of the Latvian Insurers Association.
